This high interest series will captivate low-reading level students with exciting topics pulled directly from today's headlines. The text is written at a fifth grade reading level and is geared towards middle and high school students. Each book contains 4-color photographs, charts and graphs presenting factual information and statistics in an easy to understand visual format; a bibliography of print and electronic sources for further study; and a glossary which defines difficult terms.
